Periscope Performance Lab presents a brand new work created during a residency with The Highpoint Collective in Richmond Virginia. PPL director Malinda Crump asks How are memories formed? How are memories influenced through the passage of time? How can we use the malleability of and creative nature of memory to give rise to a more complete picture of the past? PPL creates a visual and kinesthetic representation of the questions asked and the answers that were found during the residency in Virginia.

March 13, 2015 Why not Brunch?

Zizi Limona presents:
WHY NOT BRUNCH?
Join us Friday, March 13 at 1pm
for a dance theater piece by Molly Mingey,
accompanied by a decked-out brunch buffet with unlimited mimosas!

"Why not Brunch?" premiered in 2011 at Art to Art, an experimental concert in Milwaukee, WI. Choreographer Molly Mingey and Michigan-based composer Jas McHugh collaborated to tell a story through movement, props, and sound design. Through the lens of the server, we see the less enjoyable side of a weekend brunch.

The brunch buffet, packed with Mediterranean flavors, will be vegan-friendly with enough options to still satisfy our meat-loving friends.

June 4, 2015 Pine Ridge Cir.

This work is being presented in The Hoover Dam Collectives 5th anniversary show at at Max Cellar - Amancay's Diner in Bushwick. This piece examines the voyeurism and absurdity of two next door neighbors.

October 2,3 2015 Overflow

BOINKdance presented at the Actors Fund Art's Center

160 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn NY 1120

www.boinkdance.com

Overflow is an exploration of modern relationships, reflecting on the erosion of personal space and the proliferation of human connections. Film and dance interplay with the same fluidity that defines our interpersonal experiences. As with all relationships, it is give and take- between media and meaning, performer and observer- that form the boundries of what Overflow seeks to transcend.
